btw, juventini, talk about spoil of riches up front – barca has 3 world class fowards on the pitch at the same time : henry (a bit over the hill , sure), ibra (had him, got rid of him), messi (dream of him). we fielded amauri for most of the season. i HATE watching teams with good management.
On Roma Page:
mimo : watching the Barca-Stuttgart match..may be a true whipping in the making. Messi has been irresistible.
Bashar : I heard that Messi’s goal was a thing of brilliance. That’s 7 in 4 games since the first leg. I think that’s 28 goals and 9 assists in 35 games for him in all competitions.
mimo : Messi’s goal was absolute genius- he managed to get an unstoppable shot off into the top corner surrounded by 3-4 defenders outside the box. The second goal vs Valencia was genius too- going past 3-4 defenders. He has not only been scoring- he seems to also be scoring memorable goals.
Btw, the 2nd goal by Pedro today was off a genius pass from Messi to Toure to open up the defence.
Bashar : Maybe we can sign Messi when he’s in his mid 40s. This kid is so good. No words.
mimo : messi’s 2nd today was also great. he is really scoring some awesome goals from open play. just missed 2 hatricks in 2 games by missing perhaps his easiest chance!
mimo : and call me biased- but i cant help getting a bit annoyed with the “pundits” putting Rooney & Messi in the same league. IMO Messi has the potential to be one of the all time greats.

Last quote was actually true. We are very dependent of Messi right now and I don't think he can keep this form till May.
It was a nice win. But don't get too excited yet. We haven't won anything yet and there are some games to go before we end up in the CL final.

And for the record, I don’t think the rest of the players are dependent on Messi more than he is dependent on them. Which makes the deal fair and square for me.
Would we be able to win all the titles without Messi? Is there any way anyone can prove we wouldn’t? No. So my answer is yes we can win without Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and Ibra all together. Till someone prove me wrong.
We can all play hypothetical games of conditional statements;)

If anyone remembers the first half of the season, Messi played like crap. Barcelona still achieved success. Barcelona can survive without Messi but we have a lot more flare when Messi is playing well.
