Barcelona meets Sporting

7:00 AM Posted by Ramzi

Coming up tonight On La liga!

Your most sentimental fantasies:

Eight points advantage before Monday sunrise?

Conditional illusion

If Yaya plays, tomorrow headlines: Busquets was just a crises plan, though he is not good enough. Pep is a genius.

If Busquets plays, tomorrow headlines: Yaya will be sold. Pep is biased toward youth academy players.

Henry Or Pedro?
Bojan?

Defense:
Who will play where?

Nothing special to say about this game! All the special things could be mentioned after the final whistle though.

If both Yaya and Busquet play tonight, what the headline will be? :)

I kinada fancy this kind of away wins! the score line doesn't disturb me as I'm convinced we created enough chances against a team that played very well, at least defensively.

Ibra is improving every game, he is positioning him self better inside the box, unfortunate he didn't score.

it's good to see Marquez getting his old form back, although he still have to work on positioning "especially for crosses"
I know the opponent wasn't that dangerous, but he is showing some improvement and thats enough for now,

Alves proved to be priceless " as if anyone needs a proof for that".

Pedro was mean not to pass that ball to Ibra;)), but the kid got the nerves and the talent to shoot through such a narrow angle!

the last 10 min could have caused some troubles if we were playing a better side.

we'll miss el capitano against Soldado and co. but that sounds better than losing him against Aguero-Forlan and co.

Pedro should thank Zlatan to distract both the goalie and defenders. Everyone thought he would pass and he surprised everyone, including the goalie. Just a split of a second of hesitation is enough to put away the goal.
But both he and messi missed some good chances to put away the game later. Zlatan did his work to distract the defenders to open up the space in box. Too back Messi and Pedro's shot are either too wide or too high.
I agree that Zlatan's in-box movement was better. Timing was still a bit off so he ended up with some offside calls. But that is mainly because the weather and slipery ground. He couldn't move that fast with his size and weight. Overall he was better and he didn't have too many good chances. Messi and Pedro had better chances that both missed.
Marquez was really impressive. Now that Puyol was suspended next game, I guess Marquez will play in his position again next week.
Can't wait till CL starts. One game a week is too few :) Guess I'm spoiled with many Barca's matches last season.
